The new 5Q columns were essentially a plug and play update to our aging HP 5MS UI columns. We have noticed a decrease in the amount of noise/bleed from the columns themselves during the high ramp temperature regions of our analytical pesticide method. This has allowed us to add additional analytes to our method for orthogonal analysis between LC and GC techniques and therefore increasing our confidence during reporting. The attached chromatogram shows chlordanes at 0.5 ppb in-vial on a cannabis concentrate-type matrix. We are very satisfied with the column's performance in regard to retention time shifting, overall bleed reduction, and reproducibility.
